St Johns Sports & Social Club 11th May 2014
“The Dung Beatles played at our Charity Football and Family Fun Day for Cancer Research at St John’s FC in Stone at the weekend. Phil was really helpful in setting up the sound system for the day and literally gave a whole afternoon and evening of his own time. The band were absolutely amazing and did a great job, everybody was buzzing about them afterwards and the feedback since has been fantastic. They made the afternoon what it was and were really kind in lending out their equipment to the bands that played before them. We owe The Dung Beatles a huge thanks for everything and would be honoured to work with them again in the future”
Lou Harrison – Reflexions

“A Hard Day’s Night 50th Anniversary at The Turk’s Head, Twickenham 27th April 2014
“For me the Trembling Wilburys were superb as were The Dung Beatles, who closed the event, but all the bands who were there deserve a lot of credit for their performances and each and every one played their part in a superb day. By the time the curtain came down it was 10.40 in the evening and we had seen some wonderful bands and had a great day.”

Missenden Abbey 29th March 2014
“We would like to say a huge thank you to the Dung Beatles for putting on such a great night for us at Missenden Abbey on 29th March. I don’t think there was anybody who didn’t get up and have a dance to the irresistible tunes of the Beatles, performed so brilliantly by the band. All comments from our guests have been positive and in addition to this we raised an incredible £2,800 for our charity that will be used to benefit very sick children who are suffering from cancer. We couldn’t have achieved this without your help and we are very grateful that you chose to support us. Thanks guys, we really appreciate your kindness and can’t wait to hear the Dung Beatles again in the future”

Denis Williams – guest

Mentmore Golf Club Christmas Dinner & Dance 14th Dec 2013:-
“Just want to say Steve and the guys made our Christmas party at Mentmore on the 14th December one to remember, a fantastic acoustic set to lead off followed by an electric set to keep the party going. Hard to believe they have only been together a short while as everything was so tight especially for such a long set – also had time to fit in a request or two. Keep it going guys, looking forward to seeing you again”
Jon Dymock – guest

March 2013 Limelight Theatre Aylesbury

“I have seen a few tribute bands in my day but I admit that the Dung Beatles really did impress me! First of all, let me say that the Dung Beatles are not your average Beatles tribute band – no costumes, no wigs (well, the bass player was sporting one) and they didn’t play just the most well-known Beatles songs. Musically, that was so nice and refreshing. This is a band that plays Beatles songs because they like, no, LOVE, Beatles songs – no gimmicks, no tricks – just pure, unadulterated fun.”
Terry Bloxham – membership secretary – British Beatles Fan Club

“What a wonderful evening at the Limelight in Aylesbury. The venue was packed out and the audience loved every minute of it. Will definitely go to another gig. Also how lovely to play for charity events. Good on you guys!”

“Can only reiterate the positive comments. Great evening at the Limelight in Aylesbury last week with a tight set, great atmosphere and the authentic sound of the Beatles. Recommended.”

Saturday 2nd November 2013 at Rivet Sports & Social Club Aylesbury. A most enjoyable gig for us in the member’s lounge. There was a good attendance considering the clash with Guy Fawkes weekend and, as usual, an enthusiastic crowd filled the floor to dance the night away to a varied selection of Beatles classics.

Our special tribute to the Beatles 50th anniversary concert at The Waterside Theatre on 25th October 2013 really was a fab night for us in every sense. One of the greatest compliments we could ever hope for is to come out and play to a full house with an absolutely brilliant, enthusiastic and “Beatles-savvy” audience. A huge round of thanks to everyone who took part especially Andy our sound engineer, Jude from the theatre staff, our special guests the horn section featuring Lee Buckingham, Joel Newell and Toby Whiffin, Jon Kay with his amazing sitar and our support act “Indigo Vat” featuring Jake Hillier and Angus Rosier. Also thanks to our families and friends who have loyally followed us from gig to gig – we hope we made it worth the effort! Finally a special mention for one of our strongest supporters Roger Hillier who was taken ill just before the gig and to whom we wish all the best for a speedy and complete recovery.
